We are excited to announce the release of the official history book of OII and P&V.  This book has been decades in the making, beginning with a rough draft commissioned by Ed Owen in the 80s, and ending with its publication by our friends at Legacy Preservation this summer.    The tome is as much a history of the Midwest and the steel processing and fabrication industries as it is a retelling of Paxton & Vierling’s last 133 years.  The book details how the 19^th, 20^th and now 21^st century and its economies, wars, floods, commodity fluctuations, and depressions impacted the evolution of the corporation, and how the thousands of current and former employees succeeded in a variety of conditions.
