At Paxton & Vierling Steel Co. our Chief Engineer Mark Holland, P.E. understood how he could support a novel technology to help provide a more constructible solution.
We provide unique solutions for your projects and we’ve been doing, just that, for 138 years.
From Carlos de Oliveria, President and CEO at Cast Connex Corporation:
This is one of over 100 precision-manufactured cast steel nodes that CAST CONNEX is engineering and manufacturing for Paxton & Vierling Steel Co. for use in the construction of NASA’s Mobile Launcher 2, which is being designed, constructed, and commissioned by Bechtel Corporation in support of the NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration #Artemis Mission.
Cast steel nodes provide significantly enhanced structural performance, reliability, and robustness compared to conventionally fabricated connections. Our components are also dramatically simplifying fabrication and construction of the rocket launch tower, while also reducing weight – an important consideration for a mobile structure.
I had a great week meeting with some of PVS’s outstanding project partners. What a privilege it is to be involved in this project with this team.
