PVS Structures is thrilled to be a part of another big project downtown. Omaha’s Joslyn Art Museum will be closed for 2 years during renovations. The addition to the museum was designed by Snohetta and Alley Poyner Machietto Architecture. This building is being designed with a modern flair to include swooping roof lines with interior and exterior art-based architecture. The 876 tons of structural steel does not include additional 172 tons of steel in a grand staircase and skylights that will be diffused by a sculpted ceiling resembling waves framed in steel.
PVS is also involved in the connection design of the large trusses on the project. We are excited to see the final results!
