PVS Structures

PVS Structures participated in the 2023 Habitat for Humanity Brew Ha Ha event again this year. This has become a tradition, making our classic TLA-IPA and an exciting new Orange Tang Ale.

This event brings together many vendors showing off their brewing and culinary skills. PVS’s Orange Tang Ale went over well! We didn’t win, but we sure had fun joining in!

All proceeds from this event go towards Habitat for Humanity and all the amazing projects they do in the Omaha area. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. They believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

We enjoy getting out and networking in our community, make sure to come see us next year!

At Paxton & Vierling Steel Co. our Chief Engineer Mark Holland, P.E. understood how he could support a novel technology to help provide a more constructible solution.

We provide unique solutions for your projects and we’ve been doing, just that, for 138 years.

From Carlos de Oliveria, President and CEO at Cast Connex Corporation:

This is one of over 100 precision-manufactured cast steel nodes that CAST CONNEX is engineering and manufacturing for Paxton & Vierling Steel Co. for use in the construction of NASA’s Mobile Launcher 2, which is being designed, constructed, and commissioned by Bechtel Corporation in support of the NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration #Artemis Mission.

Cast steel nodes provide significantly enhanced structural performance, reliability, and robustness compared to conventionally fabricated connections. Our components are also dramatically simplifying fabrication and construction of the rocket launch tower, while also reducing weight – an important consideration for a mobile structure.

I had a great week meeting with some of PVS’s outstanding project partners. What a privilege it is to be involved in this project with this team.

The PVS and Cast Connex team were honored to visit our friends in Brazil pouring the castings for NASA’s ML2 launch platform.  What an incredible facility, and even better hospitality.  Thank you for hosting.

PVS Structures is thrilled to be a part of the NASA Rocket Launcher that will be used in the Artemis Space Program.

Steel fabricated at our Carter Lake location is sent to South Carolina to be assembled for the project. The launcher will assist in sending the NASA rockets to the moon and beyond.

It was one of the hottest days of the year in the Midwest on Wednesday, June 28th.  We think it was because we had some smoking hot wheels at our Show & Shine!  From classics to trucks to the 2-wheel types, we had it all! Thanks to all who participated and to Mother nature for keeping the rain at bay.
